I am so lucky, excited, happy, blessed, etc. Words can't describe all the emotions I feel. I am so very grateful.. In 24 hours I will be Tyler's wife forever.

Funny things happen I tell ya. Tyler and I are like [ 2 ] peas in a pod. We constantly hear how we act the same or do the same thing. It's so silly but so great at the same time. I truly feel that Tyler is my soul mate. He is my match made in heaven!

1. Tyler and I met in Kindergarten.

2. Tyler and I reconnected at Red Mango.

3. Tyler proposed on Christmas.

I know everyone is taught the [ 5 ] basic senses: smell, sight, hearing, touch, and taste. I must say the best sense however in the world that isn't taught is the sense of love. I love Tyler with all my heart.

When we were 6..

It’s so funny to think that when we were [ 6 ] boys and girls had cooties. But we were friends anyways, each others first crush, even first kiss. We have certainly grown from that time in life. Cooties have been replaced with love, a love that will last forever.

7 world wonders..

There may only be [ 7 ] world wonders, but Tyler is the greatest wonder of my life. He has shown me the true meaning of love and compassion. He helps me be the best I can and he is always there to help me when I need it most. He is my dream come true.

Crazy 8's..

We’re down to the crazy [ 8 ] ‘s. I can’t believe how crazy these last 8 months have been. Tyler and I reconnected in November and I instantly knew that he was the man of my dreams, my “Dark Knight” in shining armor. (Ha ha. Yes, I had to throw a Batman cliché in there.) Now, 8 months later we are getting ready to make our dreams a reality. I am truly the luckiest girl in the world.

Funny story..

So, funny story.

Tyler and I won free custom wrapped mini candybars for the wedding. The lady that does them lives way yonder down south so we've been emailing back and forth the design. She shipped them yesterday so I spent the whole day today waiting for the mail or a UPS truck to show up. Mail shows up. Nothing. The usual UPS time comes. Nothing by the door where our stuff is usually put. My mom comes home to find a box on our black garbage can, radiating heat from the 80 degree weather.

It was our candy bars.

Luckily we had room in the fridge so we quickly put them in and now they are delightfully solid and healthy. Yay.

If I had 9 lives..

If I had [ 9 ] lives.. Wait??! Who wants that?? I have a strong belief in eternal families and so I see no need in limiting ourselves to lives when we have eternity to be together. I believe that no matter what life throws at us, that our family will always be together forever.

In 10 years..

I’m sure you all can sense that I (Megan) am the one behind most of these blogs. Just doesn’t seem to be a “guy” thing to do. I still always have him read and look around because I do try to have it be a little land of updates about our lives.

We’re nearing the biggest day of our lives and I wanted to do something special in memory of our 10 finally days until we say “I do”. Just keep in mind, this is all from the bridal perspective.

In [ 10 ] years I see Tyler and I happily married, with 3 little ones running around. By that time I can see us in our own home sweet home. I know we will have achieved our goal to be an eternal family by being sealed in the future Rome Italy temple. I know we will be happily in love forever.



Crisis averted.

Busy busy busy!

This has certainly been one busy week!

We've been working on our wedding invitations, which I am not overly fond of addressing. But soon they'll be out and we won't have to worry anymore.

Yesterday, Sharon from Smiles Portrait Studios took our Bridal/Groomal pictures. We are really excited to see how they turned out! It was so much fun to see each other dressed up. We both wanted pictures of us at the reception, so luckily we don't believe in wedding superstitions.

Today we went to go apply for our wedding license. It was fun (minus spending $50 for it). It's becoming all so real and we're loving every moment of it! Can't wait for OUR big day!

However, we've got a little stresser to worry about this week. The person we had arranged to perform our wedding ceremony cancelled today. Now we're looking at having to dish out money for a judge or mayor which isn't what we really needed right now. Not to mention where we chose a holiday weekend for our wedding, it will be difficult to find someone who doesn't already have plans. Keep your fingers crossed for us!!

Invitations..Whoop whoop!!

So we finally got to pick up our invitations on Wednesday!!

They look so amazing and I couldn't be happier!!

A big thank you to Beautiful Wedding Announcements for being so patient with us and giving us a perfect, customized invitation!!

I recommend them to anyone and everyone!! I plan to use them for our thank you cards as well as one day (way way out there) baby announcements.

Now tonight and tomorrow comes the task of getting them addressed and mailed out..oh boy.

Keep a look out and you just may see yours by the beginning of next week!!

Yippee!!

Everything is all coming together!!

So I am pleased to announce that I, Megan Lee, am employed!!

Hooray!!

I start on Wednesday and I can't wait!!

And the countdown begins..!

I can't believe it's coming so soon!!

Either way it all adds up to only [ 1 month ] until I get to marry the man of my dreams, my best friend!

Life can't get much better than this!

The moment you all have been waiting for..

So yesterday we finally got our engagement pictures back!!

Hooray!!

We're so happy with how they turned out!!

Here's a few of our favorites!!

The ones above were taken at a parking garage in Ogden. The sun finally decided to come out when we started shooting and Tyler has weak eyes so he got to wear his Oakley's in some of them. We love how they turned out. Kinda got a mafia look in a few of them ha ha.

The next set are at the Ogden cemetary. Yes, and odd location, but none the less, it matches our personality and turned out quite well. Also, we happened to come across a headstone with an "S" on it so it worked out great!

We then made our way to a park along the Ogden river. The river is currently above flood levels so a few spots freaked us out, but we still got some great shots!

To add to our quirkiness, we saw a photo online of a couple kissing over a shopping cart and just had to have one like it! Uber cuteness!

And then we also made our way to a tattoo shop in Ogden. Tyler loves his body art and the building was cute.
